One camping hack you may want to consider is to use a tarp or ground cloth as a secondary waterproofing layer. Here are some camp cooking tricks to carry along for your next camping trip. These camp cooking tricks and tips are not only handy, but they’re also very easy to implement. What’s best of all, they will save you valuable time, space, weight, and money as well.

Using a sleeping bag and camping hack, wrap a piece of aluminum foil around a garbage bag, then insert the two pieces of foil side-by-side. To protect your sleeping bag from the elements, make sure the trash bag is zipped up before placing it inside the foil. To prepare your camping hack, insert lengths of fishing line and braid it under the aluminum foil. The end result should look something like a large plastic garbage bag, which you can then tie into a loop and store.

Water Bottle And A Small Folding Camping Stool

You should also bring along a small water bottle and a small folding camping stool. A water bottle is essential for drinking on-the-go, and a folding stool is ideal for resting or doing crafts at the campground. If you’re going to be barbequing, you’ll need a small folding table to put your water bottle on so you can carry your sleeping bag and stools with you. As an added bonus, carrying a small folding stool around will also allow you to sit down when necessary.

Another camping tip that will come in handy many times is to pack some Doritos and crack eggs into your water bottle. At the very least, you’ll have a small snack to nibble on during the day, and at most times, crack eggs will keep you alive until your next meal! To pack these snacks, simply cut out some Doritos and some crackers, and then tie a piece of string or a piece of thread onto the string of crackers. Then, tie the Doritos to the string or thread, and then you’ll have a convenient snack to eat while camping.

Silica Gel Packets And Bread Tags

The final thing you should bring along are some silica gel packets and bread tags. These items will come in handy when it gets down into the forest, so remember to pack plenty of these. A good idea is to buy a couple of bags of bread tags and place them inside your sleeping bag. The reason why silica gel packets and bread tags came in handy is because you can chew on these things without leaving any evidence that you were trying to eat them. Also, if you do happen to spill a drink, you’ll have something to clean it up with, which will be very helpful when you’re in the wild.
